Co-opBank Honors Lien Nghia PCF for Excellence in Implementing CF-eBank and Digital Banking Services

On August 16, 2025, Lien Nghia People’s Credit Fund (PCF) in Lam Dong Province celebrated its 30th founding anniversary (August 16, 1995 – August 16, 2025) and was awarded a certificate of merit by the Co-operative Bank of Vietnam (Co-opBank) for its outstanding achievements in implementing CF-eBank electronic banking services and Co-opBank’s digital banking products for members and customers.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Vo Van Thanh, Deputy Director of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) Region 10; Mr. Le Minh Dat, Director of Co-opBank Lam Dong Branch; Ms. Dinh Thi Hanh, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance in Lam Dong; Mr. Tran Trung Hieu, Party Secretary of Duc Trong Commune; representatives from the Lam Dong Labor Federation; the Lien Nghia PCF’s founders, staff, and exemplary members.

Thirty years have marked a remarkable journey for Lien Nghia PCF, from its early struggles to becoming a strong and reputable cooperative financial institution. As of July 2025, the PCF’s total capital surpassed VND 1,000 billion, with mobilized capital reaching VND 924 billion and outstanding loans nearing VND 800 billion. Membership stood at 5,128. The Lien Nghia PCF’s consistent capital growth over the years has gone hand in hand with strengthening credit quality, ensuring system safety, and reflecting members’ growing trust, thereby making significant contributions to local socio-economic development. Lien Nghia PCF has also been at the forefront of digital transformation. With support from Co-opBank, it has become a pioneer in Lam Dong, actively rolling out digital banking services in partnership with Co-opBank Lam Dong Branch. Nearly 1,000 members and customers have opened Co-opBank accounts, with another 1,000 registering for the Co-opBank Mobile Banking app. The fund has also been among the most active PCFs in implementing Co-opBank’s CF-eBank electronic payment system. By June 30, 2025, outward transactions totaled 6,927, valued at VND 1,807.151 billion, while inward transactions reached 7,249, valued at VND 1,749.749 billion.

Over three decades, Lien Nghia PCF has been honored with numerous awards, including the Third-class Labor Medal, the Government’s Emulation Flag, the Emulation Flag of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance, the title of Outstanding Enterprise of Lam Dong Province, along with many other certificates of merit from central ministries, local authorities, and mass organizations.

At the ceremony, Ms. Tran Thi Mac Thuy, Director of Lien Nghia PCF, affirmed that the PCF has earned a solid reputation in its community. It has mobilized idle resources among residents while serving as the primary channel of credit for members, supporting production, business, services, and consumption. The fund has played a key role in job creation, poverty reduction, improving living standards, curbing loan sharking, and contributing to political stability in rural areas. Going forward, Lien Nghia PCF is committed to strengthening system-wide capital intermediation with Co-opBank as the focal point, advancing modernization, and accelerating digital transformation on Co-opBank’s technology platform.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Vo Van Thanh, Deputy Director of SBV Region 10, praised Lien Nghia PCF’s achievements, especially its collaboration with Co-opBank in digital transformation to deliver modern banking services to members and customers. He urged the fund to build on its success to meet future plans, thereby contributing to local socio-economic growth while maintaining safe and efficient operations.

Also at the ceremony, Mr. Le Minh Dat, Director of Co-opBank Lam Dong Branch, congratulated Lien Nghia PCF for its accomplishments over the past three decades. He noted that the PCF has emerged as one of the country’s leading cooperative financial institutions, earning recognition from multiple levels of government. Looking ahead, he emphasized that Lien Nghia PCF will continue to work closely with Co-opBank to accelerate digital transformation, expand its service ecosystem, and deliver digital financial solutions to members.

On behalf of Co-opBank’s Board of Directors, Mr. Le Minh Dat presented a certificate of merit to Lien Nghia PCF for its achievements in implementing CF-eBank and digital banking services. He also awarded commendations to two individuals: Mr. La Van Bao, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Lien Nghia PCF, and Ms. Tran Thi Mac Thuy, Director of Lien Nghia PCF, for their active efforts in introducing Co-opBank’s digital products to members and customers.

The event also paid tribute to the Lien Nghia PCF’s founding members and past leaders, while launching an emulation campaign among staff to further improve capital mobilization and lending to support members’ economic and social development, poverty reduction, and contribute to building a safe, sustainable PCF system.
