On 1 August 2026, in Son La Province, Moc Chau Farm People’s Credit Fund (PCF) solemnly celebrated its 30th anniversary, marking three decades of development and dedicated service to its members while contributing to the socio-economic development of the local community.
Attending the celebration, a delegation from the Co-operative Bank of Vietnam (Co-opBank), led by Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong – Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors, extended congratulations to Moc Chau Farm PCF and presented it with the “Golden Rice Ear” Honorary Award.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Co-opBank, conveyed his warm congratulations to the management, staff, and members of Moc Chau Farm PCF on the occasion of its 30th anniversary. The Chairman also recognized and commended the PCF’s outstanding achievements in strengthening cooperation within the PCF network and its significant contributions to the socio-economic development of the local community.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Co-opBank noted that, throughout its 30-year journey, Moc Chau Farm PCF has remained committed to placing members at the heart of its operations while embracing mutual support as the foundation of its development. Guided by this philosophy, the PCF has continued to grow and established itself as one of the leading PCFs in Vietnam. To date, the PCF has mobilized total funds of VND 1.48 trillion, serves more than 10,000 members, and maintains an exceptionally low non-performing loan (NPL) ratio of just 0.06%. It has also become a model of effective governance and management, attracting numerous PCFs from across the country to visit, learn from, and exchange experiences.

Referring to the strategic direction for the years ahead, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong stated that the PCF network is entering a new stage of development, bringing both new opportunities and new requirements. On 11 June 2026, the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam issued a Decision approving the Scheme on the “Comprehensive Restructuring of the People’s Credit Fund System and the Co-operative Bank of Vietnam for the 2026–2030 Period, with a Vision to 2045.” This Scheme provides an important legal foundation for further strengthening and improving the operational quality of the entire PCF network. In this context, the Chairman emphasized that Moc Chau Farm PCF should continue to enhance its governance and management capacity, strengthen its financial capability, reinforce risk management, and further improve the quality of its operations. Above all, it should continue to uphold the trust of its members – the most valuable asset of every PCF.

Emphasizing the close and enduring relationship between Co-opBank and the PCF network, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong stated: “A strong Co-opBank must be built alongside a strong PCF network, and a strong PCF network begins with strong individual PCF. That is the true strength of the cooperative financial model.”
As part of the celebration, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Co-opBank, presented the “Golden Rice Ear” Honorary Award on behalf of Co-opBank to the leadership of Moc Chau Farm PCF in recognition of its outstanding achievements in strengthening system-wide cooperation in 2025.

The celebration concluded in a dignified, warm, and proud atmosphere, marking the beginning of a new chapter for Moc Chau Farm PCF. Building on its proud tradition, the PCF is committed to further enhancing the quality of its operations and making greater contributions to the sustainable development of the PCF network and the local economy.
