The Co-operative Bank of Vietnam (Co-opBank) has officially launched the online competition “Learning About Digital Transformation in the Banking Sector” for all officers and employees across the system, taking place from April 29th , 2026 to May 10th , 2026.

This is a practical activity in response to the 2026 “Digital Transformation in the Banking Sector” Competition organized by the Vietnam Banking Trade Union. Beyond being simply a knowledge-based contest, the competition serves as a solution to widely disseminate the Party’s and the State’s policies and orientations on digital transformation through 2025, with a vision toward 2030. It thereby contributes to enhancing digital awareness and capabilities among officers and employees across the entire system.
The competition also provides participants with fundamental knowledge of core technologies such as AI, Big Data, Blockchain, and Cloud computing, while strengthening skills in data security, information safety, and promoting civilized conduct in cyberspace. These are considered key factors in the banking sector’s digital transformation journey.
The competition is organized online through Co-opBank’s eLearning system. Each participant will take one test consisting of 25 multiple-choice questions, with a time limit of 30 minutes. The competition is conducted in two phases: Phase 1 (April 29 – May 6) for the Head Office and branches from Ninh Binh northward; and Phase 2 (May 6 – May 10) for branches from Thanh Hoa southward.
A diverse and attractive prize structure has been designed to encourage participation and foster a spirit of competition throughout the system. The prizes include 80 awards for individuals achieving the highest scores with the fastest completion times, along with six awards for outstanding units, evaluated based on participation rates and average scores.
The competition is expected to create a strong wave of learning, innovation, and digital capability enhancement, thereby contributing to accelerating comprehensive digital transformation at Co-opBank.
