Co-opBank An Giang Branch inaugurates Cao Lanh transaction office

On March 17, 2026, the Co-operative Bank of Vietnam (Co-opBank) An Giang branch officially held the opening ceremony of the Cao Lanh Transaction Office, located at No. 350–352 Nguyen Hue Street, My Tra Commune, Dong Thap Province. As the first transaction office of the An Giang Branch, this milestone opens new opportunities for local residents and People’s Credit Funds (PCFs) in the area to access modern and secure financial services.

Attending the ceremony on behalf of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) and related authorities were Mr. Pham Minh Tu — Director of SBV Region 13; Mr. Tran Van Phuoc — Acting Director of SBV Region 15; and Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Cuong — Chairman of the People’s Committee of My Tra Ward, Dong Thap province.

Representing Co-opBank were Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong — Chairman of the Board of Directors; Ms. Pham Thi Hong Minh — Member of the Board of Directors and General Director; members of the Board of Directors, Board of Management, and Supervisory Board; leaders of selected divisions at the Head Office; and the Management Board of Co-opBank An Giang branch.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong — Chairman of the Board of Directors of Co-opBank — extended his congratulations to Co-opBank An Giang Branch and emphasized that this event marks not only an important milestone in Co-opBank’s network expansion but also a strategic step toward meeting the growing demand for banking services in Dong Thap and neighboring provinces. He noted that the Cao Lanh transaction office will enhance the delivery of banking services to local residents while creating opportunities for cooperation and deeper connectivity among PCFs in the region. Backed by a team of highly qualified staff and strong support from member PCFs, the Cao Lanh transaction office is expected to grow robustly and make a meaningful contribution to the sustained prosperity of the local community.

At the ceremony, Mr. Pham Minh Tu — Director of SBV Region 13 — commended the efforts of Co-opBank An Giang Branch in establishing the Cao Lanh transaction office, affirming that this represents a sound step toward improving the quality of banking services in the area. He further noted that the expansion of Co-opBank’s network will create significant opportunities to further advance its role in providing financial support, capital regulation, and professional advisory services to PCFs. In this regard, he called upon Co-opBank An Giang branch to maintain rigorous risk management practices, continuously improve service quality, and ensure full compliance with SBV regulations, thereby contributing to the sustainable development of the PCFs network across the region.

The Cao Lanh transaction office officially commenced operations on March 17, 2026, ready to serve local residents and financial institutions in the area. Offering a comprehensive suite of banking services — encompassing deposit, lending, and payment services as well as a broad range of financial products — the office is well-positioned to meet the growing financial needs of the community. Beyond serving corporate and individual customers, the transaction office is also poised to serve as a trusted partner for PCFs in the region, playing an active role in supporting local economic development.
