On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo 2026, upholding the tradition of solidarity, mutual support, and social responsibility inherent in the cooperative financial model, the Youth Union of the Co-operative Bank of Vietnam (Co-opBank) Thanh Hoa branch implemented the social welfare program “Co-opBank – Tet for the Community.” The program aims to extend support and provide encouragement to members of People’s Credit Funds (PCFs) facing difficult circumstances, thereby bringing warmth and compassion to the Spring season.
In response to the program, all officers, employees, and Youth Union members of Co-opBank Thanh Hoa branch actively contributed in the spirit of “Solidarity – Mutual Support – Development,” demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility and genuine commitment toward PCF members. From the mobilized funds, on January 31, 2026, the Branch presented 90 Tet gift packages, totaling 63 million vnd, to PCF members who are beneficiaries of social policies and who have experienced significant hardships but continue to work toward stabilizing their production, business activities, and livelihoods.
The gift-giving initiative not only provided material support but also offered timely moral encouragement, strengthening the confidence and motivation of PCF members on their development journey. Through this meaningful program, Co-opBank further reinforced its close and sustainable partnership with its member PCFs – the foundational pillar of the cooperative financial model.
Although modest in material value, the Spring gifts embodied the genuine care, compassion, and solidarity of the collective staff of Co-opBank Thanh Hoa branch toward PCF members. This initiative also clearly demonstrated Co-opBank’s role and responsibility in supporting the stable, secure, and sustainable development of the entire PCF network.
The “Co-opBank – Tet for the Community” program is a meaningful social welfare initiative and an opportunity for the Youth Union of Co-opBank Thanh Hoa branch to advance its pioneering and innovative role, closely aligning Youth Union activities with professional responsibilities and the overall strategic direction of the Branch.
With the spirit of “Solidarity – Mutual Support – Development,” Co-opBank Thanh Hoa branch continues to affirm its role as the bank of PCFs in the locality, steadfastly accompanying members and the community, thereby promoting humanitarian values and contributing to the sustainable development of the cooperative financial model for the shared prosperity of society.
