On the afternoon of January 10 in Hanoi, the Co-operative Bank of Vietnam (Co-opBank) Youth Union organized a charitable gift-giving program at the “For Tomorrow” Center for Healthcare, Vocational Training, and Production for Youth with Disabilities. The gifts were presented with the objective of demonstrating care, providing encouragement, and supporting the daily living needs of the center’s students, thereby exemplifying the spirit of compassion and social responsibility championed by Co-opBank’s young members.
In a warm and welcoming atmosphere, representatives from the Youth Union personally delivered the gifts to the center as a gesture of care and encouragement for the young people with disabilities who are studying, residing, and participating in productive activities there. While modest in material value, each gift conveyed heartfelt concern, solidarity, and a strong commitment to social responsibility from the Co-opBank Youth Union, bringing joy and motivation to the students in their learning and daily lives.

At the program, Ms. Bui Thi Bich Ngoc, Secretary of the Co-opBank Youth Union, affirmed that the gift-giving initiative not only embodies the spirit of solidarity and mutual support, but also carries profound educational significance, contributing to the cultivation of compassion, responsibility, and a culture of sharing among union members and young employees throughout the organization.
Representing the “For Tomorrow” Center, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong, Deputy Director of the Center, expressed that the thoughtful gifts from the Co-opBank Youth Union not only help address daily living needs but also serve as a valuable source of encouragement for staff, teachers, and trainees. The care and support demonstrated by the Co-opBank Youth Union provide strong motivation for the Center to advance its healthcare, vocational training, and production activities, thereby creating greater opportunities for trainees to develop skills, progressively integrate into the community, and pursue improved quality of life.
Within the framework of the program, the Co-opBank Youth Union also presented the “For Tomorrow” Center with collected materials including cardboard wall calendars, spiral desk calendars, colored paper, books, newspapers, and periodicals. These materials serve as inputs for trainees to recycle and creatively transform into handicraft products utilized in vocational training and production activities, thereby contributing to improved livelihoods and the sustainable operation of the Center.
The gift-giving initiative at the “For Tomorrow” Center represents one of the practical and highly meaningful programs organized by the Youth Union. Through concrete actions, Co-opBank’s young members not only demonstrate their pioneering spirit and commitment to community service, but also help propagate positive values, reinforcing the image of responsible, compassionate, and socially-minded young professionals.
