Co-opBank Bac Giang Branch Inaugurates Transaction Office No. 1
On the morning of November 28, 2025, the Co-operative Bank of Vietnam (Co-opBank) Bac Giang Branch formally held the Inauguration Ceremony for Transaction Office No. 1 in Luc Nam Commune, Bac Ninh Province. This significant event marks a new development milestone for the branch and the strategic plan to expand outreach, enhance service delivery, and strengthen financial service accessibility for People’s Credit Funds (PCFs), members, households, and businesses in the region.

Attending the ceremony were distinguished guests including Mr. Ta Thanh Long, Director of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) Region 12; representatives from the leadership of the People’s Committees of Luc Nam Commune and Nghia Phuong Commune; and representatives from the leadership of the People’s Credit Funds (PCFs) in the area.
From Co-opBank, attendees included Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong, Chairman of the Board of Directors; Ms. Pham Thi Hong Minh, Member of the Board of Directors and General Director; other members of the Board of Directors, the Executive Board, and the Supervisory Board; along with leaders from several departments at the Head Office and Co-opBank branches in Bac Giang, Thai Binh, Bac Ninh, and Hung Yen provinces.
In his remarks at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Co-opBank, congratulated the Bac Giang branch and affirmed that the launch of Transaction Office No. 1 represents an important milestone in Co-opBank’s network expansion strategy for the 2025–2030 period. This is one of six Transaction Offices approved for establishment by the SBV in 2025, of which Co-opBank Bac Giang branch has been authorized to establish two; this marks the first Transaction office for the branch. This achievement not only signifies the expansion of the network and operational scale but also demonstrates Co-opBank’s commitment to enhancing accessibility, support, and services for PCFs and the broader community.

On behalf of the State Bank of Vietnam, Mr. Ta Thanh Long, Director of SBV Region 12, extended his congratulations and emphasized that the establishment of Transaction office No. 1 represents a concrete initiative to strengthen support for the PCFs network, expand customer service capacity, and facilitate local residents’ access to safe, modern, and locally relevant financial services. He also requested that Co-opBank Bac Giang branch enhance its oversight and supervision of the PCFs, truly serving as an “extended arm” of the SBV in supporting PCFs throughout the locality to develop in a safe, effective, and sustainable manner.
Building upon the foundation already established, and with the support of SBV Region 12, local authorities, and Co-opBank leadership, the management of Co-opBank Bac Giang branch and the staff of Transaction office No. 1 are committed to developing the office into a modern and reliable transaction point, thereby bringing Co-opBank’s services and reputation closer to local residents and businesses.
