In alignment with the dynamic momentum leading to the Congress of the Trade Union of the Co-operative Bank of Vietnam (Co-opBank) for the 2025–2030 term, all 33 grassroots trade unions under the Co-opBank Trade Union have successfully convened their respective Congresses for the 2025–2030 term. These Congresses were conducted with a strong sense of responsibility and demonstrated robust consensus, fully reflecting the unity and solidarity of officers and union members across the entire system.

During the Congress, delegates reviewed the Operational Report of the grassroots Trade Union for the 2023–2025 period and the Self-Assessment Report of the Executive Committee. The Congress candidly acknowledged achievements, evaluated shortcomings, and established key strategic directions and priorities for the upcoming term. Numerous presentations by officers and union members demonstrated thorough preparation, high quality, and practical relevance. These presentations provided clear analysis of results achieved, identified existing challenges and limitations, and proposed specific, actionable solutions to enhance the effectiveness of Trade Union operations during the 2025–2030 term.

The grassroots Trade Unions effectively aligned with Co-opBank’s digital transformation strategy, leveraging technology as a strategic enabler and demonstrating strong adaptive capacity during this period of organizational innovation.

The grassroots Trade Unions rigorously implemented organizational streamlining at their Congresses, reducing the number of Executive Committee members in accordance with the Resolutions, Conclusions, and official directives issued by competent authorities. The newly elected Executive Committees emphasized the imperative for substantive innovation in both the content and methodology of Trade Union operations, prioritizing practicality, efficiency, and close alignment with operational objectives. Following productive deliberations, each Congress elected a new Executive Committee comprising exemplary officers distinguished by strong integrity and credibility. Particularly noteworthy is the participation of younger union members in the 2025–2030 Executive Committees, who bring fresh perspectives, strong technological proficiency, and a proactive, innovation-oriented mindset- creating elevated expectations for a dynamic and transformative term ahead.

In their guidance remarks at the Congresses, Co-opBank leadership representatives commended the significant achievements attained by the grassroots Trade Unions during the previous term. The leadership emphasized that Trade Unions must continue to coordinate closely with operational units in executing assigned responsibilities, and that each officer and union member must clearly recognize their role and accountability toward the collective mission of their respective units. They stressed the importance of striving to meet and exceed assigned financial and business targets, promoting patriotic emulation movements, enhancing member welfare services, and substantively innovating the content and methodology of Trade Union operations in a practical and effective manner aligned with professional responsibilities.
