Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong – Chairman of the Board of Co-opBank  delivered a directive speech at the Conference on Personnel Deployment at the Co-opBank Dak Lak Branch

Joining the Co-opBank delegation were Mr. Nguyen Van Giang – Standing Deputy General Director, together with leaders of several departments from Co-opBank’s Head Office.

At the working session, Mr. Bui Ke Nguyen – Acting Director of the Co-opBank Dak Lak Branch presented the branch’s business results for the first eight months of 2025. He reported that the branch had focused on promoting safe and efficient credit operations, prioritizing capital for production and business sectors while fulfilling Co-opBank’s responsibilities toward the local People’s Credit Funds (PCFs). As of August 31, 2025, PCF capital-balancing deposits reached VND 489.5 billion, up VND 55.2 billion from the beginning of the year; capital-balancing loans totaled VND 137.1 billion, down VND 4.5 billion; of which syndicated loans stood at VND 88.5 billion, an increase of VND 64.2 billion. All 15 PCFs under the branch’s management have joined Co-opBank’s CF-eBank electronic money transfer system, and 4 out of 15 PCFs have been licensed as payment agents for Co-opBank.

Overall, the Dak Lak Branch’s business performance has largely met its targets, achieving 65.4% of the 2025 annual financial plan and 98.2% of the eight-month financial plan. Specifically, total mobilized capital within and outside the system reached 112.7% of the plan, while total outstanding loans within and outside the system achieved 95.2%.

Alongside these results, the branch still faces many difficulties and challenges, particularly intense competition from commercial banks in the area, while the quality of human resources remains limited and some credit items carry potential risks that require decisive handling. In digital banking services, although implementation has begun, the pace of adoption and customer habits in rural areas remain slow, requiring greater efforts in communication, guidance, and customer support.

In order to overcome these limitations, the Dak Lak Branch has developed a plan focusing on three key pillars: strengthening risk management, accelerating digital transformation in transactions and services, and placing emphasis on staff training and professional development. The Acting Director affirmed that the branch’s entire staff will uphold a spirit of solidarity and strive to meet the 2025 targets, contributing actively to the overall development of the Co-opBank system.

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong – Chairman of the BoD of Co-opBank presented the appointment decisions and congratulated Mr. Tran Khac Hung and Mr. Truong Van Luc on their appointment as Deputy Directors of the Dak Lak Branch

Delivering his directive remarks at the working session, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong – Chairman of the Board of Co-opBank – highly commended the efforts, solidarity, and determination of the leadership team and staff of the Dak Lak Branch in maintaining credit growth, ensuring service quality, and supporting the local People’s Credit Funds (PCFs).

The Chairman of the Board highlighted several key orientations:

On management and operations: The branch should continue to align closely with the overall strategy of the Co-opBank system, strengthen discipline and compliance in management, and at the same time promote initiative and creativity in business implementation. Risk management must be a top priority and regarded as the foundation for safe and sustainable development.

On technology and digital transformation: The branch needs to accelerate the adoption of digital solutions, fully leveraging the CF-eBank electronic banking ecosystem, Co-opBank Mobile Banking, and Co-opBank Napas chip cards to expand services and better meet customer needs, especially in rural areas.

On human resources: The Chairman stressed the importance of training and developing a team of competent, ethical, and professional staff. The rotation and appointment of management personnel should be linked to long-term development requirements and create opportunities for young staff to gain experience and contribute.

On the branch’s role within the system: The Dak Lak Branch must continue to maintain close ties with the PCFs, fulfilling its role as “the bank of the PCFs,” not only by providing financial services but also by accompanying and supporting the enhancement of governance capacity for local PCFs.

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong affirmed that the Co-opBank leadership will always accompany and create favorable conditions for the Dak Lak Branch to develop, while the branch itself must foster proactivity, creativity, and strong determination to successfully accomplish its tasks and contribute to the overall growth of the Co-opBank system.
