On September 11 and 12, 2025, the Co-operative Bank of Vietnam (Co-opBank) organized a training program on the Payment Hub solution for 32 Co-opBank branches and 6,121 participants from 1,027 People’s Credit Funds (PCF) nationwide. The training was attended by Mr. Nguyen Thac Tam – Deputy General Director of Co-opBank; representatives of Co-opBank’s departments, divisions, and centers at the Head Office; and partner representatives from ITD-VAPCF, NGV, and TechPlus Solution.
The Payment Hub is a payment gateway that provides seamless 24/7 connectivity between PCFs and Co-opBank, enabling uninterrupted transactions with banks and service providers. In his opening remarks, Mr. Nguyễn Thạc Tâm highlighted the necessity and benefits of the Payment Hub and outlined specific next steps for deploying the system to connect Co-opBank and the PCF network.
During the program, participants received an overview and operational training on the Payment Hub and took a professional assessment to qualify for a Co-opBank-issued certificate of completion. This training marks an essential step toward the full-scale rollout of the Payment Hub across the entire PCF network.

Regarding the Payment Hub system, since July 2024, Co-opBank has piloted the platform across 10 PCFs. After the pilot phase and careful preparation of related resources, Co-opBank and the PCFs are now ready to deploy the Payment Hub across the entire network.
The implementation of the Payment Hub will deliver significant benefits to PCFs, specifically:
Enhancing connectivity, creating a foundation for PCFs to expand their product and service portfolios and improve competitiveness.
Shortening transaction processing times, boosting operational efficiency at PCFs.
Reducing transaction errors, eliminating the multiple software steps currently required.
Automating reconciliation between PCFs and Co-opBank, increasing accuracy and saving resources.
Laying the groundwork for a Mobile Banking application for PCF members and customers in the near future.
Overall, the Payment Hub is expected to provide a comprehensive and efficient payment solution, expanding digital transaction capabilities for PCFs. It also serves as a platform for cross-selling, product development, and seamless connectivity between the PCF system and Co-opBank.
With these advantages, the Payment Hub is poised to become an important milestone in the digital transformation of payment operations, enhancing service quality and supporting the sustainable growth of the PCF network.
