Joining the jubilant atmosphere of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, and as part of the series of events marking the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Co-operative Bank of Vietnam (Co-opBank), formerly the Central People’s Credit Fund (05/08/1995 – 05/08/2025), on August 19, 2025, under the approval of Co-opBank’s Board of Management, the Bac Ninh Branch solemnly held the Plaque Unveiling Ceremony of the “Project in Celebration of the 30th Anniversary of Co-opBank’s Establishment” at the Branch’s office.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong – Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Co-opBank delivered a keynote address at the ceremony.
In attendance at the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Thac Quang – Deputy Director of the SBV Region 12; representing Co-opBank were Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong – Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors; Ms. Pham Thi Hong Minh – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, General Director; members of the Board of Directors, the Executive Board, the Supervisory Board, and leaders of departments at the Head Office; Directors of the Bac Giang, Hung Yen, and Thai Binh branches; representatives of People’s Credit Funds (PCFs) under the management of SBV Region 12 in the Bac Ninh area; together with the leadership team and staff of Co-opBank Bac Ninh Branch.
At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thanh – Director of Co-opBank Bac Ninh Branch, stated that since its official commencement of operations, the Branch has consistently upheld its mission as “the Bank of the PCFs,” serving as a capital intermediation hub and contributing significantly to the safety and sustainability of the PCF system in the region. In recent years, the Branch has continuously innovated its operational methods, enhanced service quality, expanded its customer network and maximized its role in supporting and assisting PCFs. These efforts have helped Co-opBank Bac Ninh Branch become one of the most stable, effective, and closely connected branches with local PCFs.
As of July 31, 2025, Co-opBank Bac Ninh Branch recorded outstanding loans of VND 3,823 billion, reflecting nearly 10% growth, financial performance reaching 61.18%, non-performing loans consistently controlled within assigned limits, and absolute safety ensured for treasury operations and institutional assets, thereby effectively serving and supporting PCFs in the area.

The renovation project of the Branc’s office commenced on December 26, 2024. During the construction process, the Branch was determined to overcome all difficulties in manpower and resources, working closely with the contractor to complete the project two months ahead of schedule, finishing in just over 8 months instead of the planned 10 months. The project is not only a spacious, modern physical infrastructure but also a vivid testament to the determination to innovate, professionalize operations, create a favorable working environment, and enhance productivity and service quality for PCFs and customers. It stands as a landmark in the heart of Bac Ninh province.
Delivering his remarks at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong – Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Co-opBank emphasized: “The new office of Co-opBank Bac Ninh Branch today is not just a spacious and modern facility, but also a symbol of the relentless efforts, growth, and development of Co-opBank over the past 30 years. This will be the place where the intellect, enthusiasm, and dedication of our staff converge, contributing to the continued growth of the Co-opBank system, strengthening its ties with PCFs, and accompanying the socio-economic development of Bac Ninh province and the region.”
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong requested Co-opBank Bac Ninh Branch to continue promoting its tradition of solidarity, relentless innovation, and service quality improvement, with PCFs at the center, closely aligned with Co-opBank’s strategic orientation of Safety – Efficiency – Sustainable Development. He further affirmed that the Board of Directors and the Executive Board will always stand by and support the Branch to enhance its role and position within the system as well as in the hearts of customers and the community.
