In the joyful and exciting atmosphere toward the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Co-operative Bank of Vietnam (Co-opBank) – formerly the Central People’s Credit Fund (August 5, 1995 – August 5, 2025), Co-opBank branches across the country have recently organized many meaningful activities.
Co-opBank An Giang Branch: From July 23 to August 1, 2025, the delegation of Co-opBank An Giang Branch, led by Mr. Dang Hoang Ngo – Director of the branch, directly visited the PCFs under its management to respectfully deliver the Letter of Appreciation from the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Co-opBank and present gifts from Co-opBank to the leaders of the PCFs.
Today, Co-opBank is not only a bank for PCFs but also a connector, a guide, and a spreader of the spirit of cooperation, contributing to the development of a strong community-based microfinance system. On behalf of Co-opBank An Giang Branch, Mr. Dang Hoang Ngo expressed hope that in the future, PCFs and Co-opBank will strengthen solidarity and bonding to move forward together in a new era of development. On this occasion, Mr. Dang Hoang Ngo – Director of Co-opBank An Giang Branch – also analyzed and outlined several major strategic directions being developed by Co-opBank, such as: continuing to enhance governance and management capacity; improving financial capacity and service product development; promoting technology application and digital transformation to continue supporting, taking care of, and developing PCFs to operate in accordance with principles and purposes, operate effectively, improve members’ living standards, contribute to reducing usury and black credit, and promote the development of agriculture, rural areas, and farmers …
The PCFs under the management of Co-opBank An Giang Branch all shared the view that: over 30 years of development, under the close guidance of the Party, the State, the State Bank of Vietnam, and the tireless dedication of generations of leaders and staff, Co-opBank has not only completed its organizational model and expanded its network, but more importantly, has fulfilled its mission as the backbone of the PCF system throughout its development journey. They expressed their hope that Co-opBank will grow stronger in the future to support PCFs in developing more effectively and safely.

At Co-opBank Nam Dinh Branch:
On July 29, 2025, the working delegation of Co-opBank Nam Dinh Branch, led by Mr. Mai Van Uy – Director of the branch, visited, presented gifts, and delivered the Letter of Appreciation from the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Co-opBank on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of its establishment (August 5, 1995 – August 5, 2025) to PCFs in Truc Ninh, Xuan Truong, Giao Thuy, and Hai Hau districts; at the same time, implemented several key tasks of the system for the second half of 2025.
At the PCFs, Mr. Mai Van Uy – Director of Co-opBank Nam Dinh Branch – stated that Co-opBank has gradually made strong progress, affirming its position as “the bank of PCFs.” Over 30 years of formation and development, Co-opBank has always stood side by side, effectively supporting the PCF system nationwide, contributing to stable and sustainable development. With the attention of Co-opBank’s leadership, the Nam Dinh Branch has step-by-step improved the operational efficiency of the PCFs system; regulated capital for PCFs, helping to meet the needs of economic and social development in agricultural and rural areas;
Previously, on July 24, 2025, the working delegation of Co-opBank Nam Dinh Branch, led by Mr. Nguyen Quang Hung – Deputy Director of the branch, visited, presented gifts, and delivered the Letter of Appreciation from the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Co-opBank on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of its establishment (August 5, 1995 – August 5, 2025) to PCFs in Nghia Hung and Truc Ninh districts; simultaneously deployed digital banking services to the PCFs.
Representing 42 PCFs under the management of Co-opBank Nam Dinh Branch, Mr. Ngo Van Thiep – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tho Nghiep PCF, Head of the PCF Club in Nam Dinh Branch area – sincerely thanked Co-opBank for the meaningful gifts and the sincere sentiments extended to the PCFs. This was not only recognition of the close relationship between Co-opBank and the PCF system but also a great source of encouragement and motivation for all PCFs. We hope that Co-opBank will continue to grow strongly and uphold its role as the Bank of PCFs in the journey ahead.

On August 5, 2025, Co-opBank Kien Giang Branch solemnly held a gathering to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Co-opBank – an important milestone marking the sustainable development journey and close companionship with the PCF system nationwide.
At the ceremony, branch officers reviewed precious photos and documents about the development journey of Co-opBank, especially the memorable milestones of Co-opBank Kien Giang Branch in its journey alongside the system. In addition, the branch’s Trade Union organized cultural exchange activities, revisiting traditions and honoring generations of staff who contributed to the common cause. This was not only a commemorative event but also an opportunity to strengthen unity and connection among the branch staff.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Huynh Van Hoa – Director of Co-opBank Kien Giang Branch – emphasized: “Over the past 30 years, Co-opBank has continuously grown in size, service quality, and reputation in the banking industry. On August 5, 2025, Co-opBank Tay Ninh Branch organized a gathering program to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Co-opBank, together with representatives from the regional SBV office and PCFs in the area. This was an opportunity to look back on the past journey and express gratitude to generations of leaders, officers, employees, and organizations and individuals who have supported Co-opBank throughout the years. Notably, it recognized the attention, direction, and guidance from the SBV, as well as the active companionship of the PCFs – affirming the determination to continue promoting traditions and steadily advancing on the path of innovation and integration, reaffirming its role as a pillar bank in the PCF system. It was also an occasion for Co-opBank Tay Ninh Branch to express appreciation to local PCFs and honor outstanding PCFs participating in the development of digital banking services.
At Co-opBank Vinh Phuc Branch:
On August 5, 2025, Co-opBank Vinh Phuc Branch organized a gathering program to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Co-opBank – an important and proud milestone marking Co-opBank’s development journey in accompanying the PCF system. During the program, branch staff watched the 30-year documentary “Steadfast Steps, Reaching Far” of Co-opBank, revisited its traditions, and expressed gratitude to generations of staff who have devoted themselves to the common cause. This was not only a commemorative occasion but also an opportunity to strengthen the bonds and solidarity among all staff members of the branch.
