On the 30th anniversary of the establishment and development of the Co-operative Bank of Vietnam (Co-opBank) – formerly the Central People’s Credit Fund (05/08/1995 – 05/08/2025), on behalf of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors of Co-opBank, I would like to extend sincere thanks to comrades, members, and leaders of the Party, the State, the State Bank of Vietnam, and to all those who have always shown interest, care, and provided close guidance and support throughout the development journey of Co-opBank
Co-opBank sincerely appreciates the trust and companionship of People’s Credit Fund members, valued customers, and partners – those who have stood by and contributed to the successes of Co-opBank today; at the same time, we extend our deepest gratitude to generations of leaders, staff, and employees who have devoted their dedication, passion, and intellect to Co-opBank’s development over the past 30 years.
Throughout its three-decade journey, which has not been without difficulties and challenges, Co-opBank has remained steadfast in its mission as the bank for People’s Credit Funds, continuously striving, improving and innovating its operational model, applying technology and digitalization, developing new products and services… to successfully fulfill its responsibilities to the Party, the State, and the State Bank of Vietnam. With guidance and direction from the State Bank of Vietnam, Co-opBank affirms its role as a financial pillar in collective and cooperative economic sectors. With a network of the Head Office, 32 branches, and 66 transaction offices, Co-opBank serves a system of nearly 1,200 People’s Credit Funds, meeting capital needs for production and business in rural areas, remote and disadvantaged regions, contributing to improving service quality for nearly 2 million members in 34 provinces and cities nationwide.
Looking ahead to the new development journey with strong determination and new vision, Co-opBank will continue to fulfill its mission of financial intermediation, providing safe and effective banking services, and steadfastly accompanying PCFs and cooperatives. Together, we will build a cooperative financial ecosystem, contribute to developing the Vietnamese banking industry, and firmly move toward the noble goal: FOR NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND PROSPERITY.
