In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment and development of the Co-operative Bank of Vietnam (Co-opBank) – formerly the Central People’s Credit Fund (August 5, 1995 – August 5, 2025), a delegation from Co-opBank, led by Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong – Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Directors, together with Ms. Pham Thi Hong Minh – Member of the Board of Directors and General Director, other Board members, Executive Management, Supervisory Board, leaders of Head Office departments, and Directors of the 32 Branches within the Co-opBank system – visited and offered incense in tribute at the Lam Kinh Special National Historical Site in Thanh Hoa Province.
The Lam Kinh Historical Site, a land of outstanding people and spiritual legacy in Thanh Hoa Province. is not only the final resting place of the emperors of the Le Dynasty but also a symbol of patriotism, resilience, and the indomitable will for independence of the Vietnamese nation. The site covers an area of about 200 hectares and includes many ancient architectural structures.
At the site, the delegation held a solemn incense offering ceremony at the Main Hall of Lam Kinh. Through this gesture, the entire leadership team and staff of Co-opBank expressed their deep respect and gratitude to the kings of the Le Dynasty at the Lam Kinh Imperial Capital.
Lam Kinh is not only a historical site but also a unique cultural space. It preserves many traditional cultural values of the nation, from architecture and sculpture to festivals and customs. With its historical significance and cultural heritage, Lam Kinh was recognized as a National Historical Site in 1962 and upgraded to a Special National Site in 2012.
The journey to the historical roots at Lam Kinh was a meaningful activity for Co-opBank, demonstrating national pride in a glorious era of resistance against foreign invaders and the building of the Dai Viet nation. It also served to inspire each staff member with determination, resilience, and the will to overcome all difficulties, successfully fulfill all tasks, and contribute to building a stronger and more prosperous nation.
