Co-opBank Promotes Gratitude Activities on the Occasion of July 27 Memorial Day

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 – July 27, 2025), upholding the tradition of “remembering the source when drinking water,” the Co-operative Bank of Vietnam (Co-opBank) organized various gratitude activities to care for and support policy beneficiary families and those who rendered service to the revolution across multiple localities.

As a tradition, in the early days of July, Co-opBank held many practical activities to commemorate the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for national independence and visited wounded and sick soldiers, families of those who rendered service to the revolution, as well as expressing gratitude and presenting gifts to relatives of Co-opBank’s officials, union members, and employees who are classified as persons of merit.

On July 21, 2025, authorized by the leadership of Co-opBank and its Trade Union, a delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Xuan Duc – Party Committee Secretary and Director of Co-opBank Bac Giang Branch – visited and presented gifts to wounded and sick soldiers at the Lang Giang Convalescent Center for Wounded Soldiers in Bac Ninh province. At the center, the delegation personally handed out 34 gifts to wounded and sick soldiers currently under treatment and rehabilitation and presented a 10-million-VND gift to the staff of the Center.

This program was part of Co-opBank Trade Union’s activities to honor wounded soldiers and families of those who rendered service to the revolution on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day

Authorized by the Leadership and Trade Union of Co-opBank, Bac Giang Branch presented gifts to wounded and sick soldiers at the Lang Giang Convalescent Center in Bac Ninh Province

On July 18, 2025, at Co-opBank Headquarters, the Grassroots Trade Union of the Headquarters organized a gathering for employees with relatives who are wounded soldiers, martyrs, or persons of merit currently working at the Headquarters. The meeting was not only an occasion to revisit glorious traditions but also a sincere tribute to those who have contributed and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the nation.

Mr. To Hoai Thanh – Deputy General Director of Co-opBank, Chairman of the Headquarters Grassroots Trade Union – presented gifts of gratitude to employees at the Headquarters whose relatives are recognized as persons of merit

At Co-opBank Branches in Bac Ninh, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Thanh Hoa, and Nghe An, programs were also coordinated to return to the roots, offering incense and flowers in remembrance of heroic martyrs at the Truong Son National Cemetery (Quang Tri), Dong Loc T-junction (Ha Tinh), and the National Memorial Stele House for Volunteer Youth. In addition, the delegation visited and presented gifts to wounded and sick soldiers under treatment and care at the Neuropsychiatric Convalescent Center for Wounded Soldiers in Nghe An.

At Nghe An Branch: on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, Co-opBank Nghe An Branch visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Lan. Additionally, the branch presented gratitude gifts to 20 relatives of officials and union members who are wounded and sick soldiers currently working at the branch and visited and gave gifts to policy beneficiary families in Truong Vinh Ward, Nghe An.
