Standardized Style and Appearance Training for Co-opBank Staff

From June 17-19, 2025, at the Head Office, the Co-operative Bank of Vietnam (Co-opBank) organized the training program “Standardized Style and Appearance for Co-opBank Staff” for officials and employees at Co-opBank’s Head Office.

Speaking at the opening of the training program, Ms. Pham Thi Hong Minh – General Director of Co-opBank stated: with its position and role as the bank of People’s Credit Funds, Co-opBank has been aiming to build a modern, versatile, innovative, and professional bank image. Therefore, in addition to improving the professional qualifications of officials and employees, the leadership of Co-opBank particularly focuses on standardizing the style and appearance of each staff member.

“Each Co-opBank officer and employee needs to serve as a brand ambassador to help convey Co-opBank’s cultural message to a wide range of customers, communities, and people,” emphasized Ms. Pham Thi Hong Minh – General Director of Co-opBank.

During the training program, officials and employees at Co-opBank’s Head Office were specifically instructed on posture, sitting position, handshake, bowing… These seemingly simple actions carry many different messages in communication culture. Standardizing these manners according to office etiquette standards, applied appropriately to each situation, not only creates positive effects in communication and behavior but also contributes to building a professional and modern image for the bank. This is also the goal that Co-opBank aims for in organizing the standardized style and appearance training program for its staff throughout the system.

During the 3-day period, Master Le Ha Phuong – Image Training Specialist of HRD ACADEMY Management Institute – a leading reputable unit in enterprise management skills training, professional management and working skills, together with associates, shared with the trainees about business etiquette and the importance of polite communication. They also guided trainees on how to build confidence when communicating, create a first impression when appearing; impressive self-introduction skills; create goodwill through body language and customer reception skills in business; practice professional communication etc.

The standardized style and appearance training program for officials and employees at Co-opBank’s Head Office was divided into 03 classes, conducted over 03 days for more than 300 Head Office staff. This aims to develop and implement corporate culture in association with building Co-opBank’s image and brand, including implementing professional ethics, banking office culture, business culture, building a civilized, united, and sharing working environment… thereby contributing to strengthening and increasing customer and community trust and affection for Co-opBank. In the coming time, Co-opBank will continue to organize training classes for staff across the entire system, with the training program at the Head Office being the first class in this training series.
