In compliance with Circular 17/2024/TT-NHNN dated June 28, 2024, of the State Bank of Vietnam, regulating the opening and use of payment accounts at payment service providers, starting from July 1, 2025, corporate customers may only conduct payment transactions via electronic means on payment accounts after completing the verification and matching of identity documents and biometric information of the legal representative.
To comply with current legal regulations and ensure uninterrupted transactions for our customers, the Co-operative Bank of Vietnam (Co-opBank) hereby announces and recommends that corporate customers complete the submission of biometric information before July 1, 2025.
At the same time, Co-opBank strengthens and supplements its security measures by stipulating that, in addition to corporate customers updating the biometric data of their legal representative, all access codes used for initiating and approving transactions must be authenticated with biometric information.
Co-opBank is committed to keeping all collected biometric verification information strictly confidential in accordance with the law and the bank’s privacy policy.
Corporate customer access codes can easily update biometric information through two methods:
🔷 Via the Co-opBank Mobile Banking application (Mobile Banking application for individual customers).
🔷 Via biometric collection devices at Co-opBank Branches nationwide.
Note:
If an access code has previously completed biometric verification (for individual customers), the biometric data of that access code will be used for verification when conducting transactions on the Co-opBank CFeBiz application.
If an access code has not yet completed biometric verification, registration for the Co-opBank Mobile Banking service is required to collect biometric data through one of the two methods above.
