On September 21, Co-opBank’s leaders have a meeting with representatives from Fujitsu (Japan)
Co-opBank’s Deputy CEO Nguyen Thac Tam and some department managers at Co-opBank’s head office in Hanoi were present in the meeting. Mr. Koji Masuda- Vice President and Head of East Asia and Mr. Graeme Beardsell- Asia Pacific CEO led the Fujitsu delegation to visit Co-opBank.
Fujitsu is a leading corporation in semiconductors, computers, communications, services and information technology solutions, headquartered in Tokyo (Japan). Over the years, Fujitsu has provided Co-opBank with some IT solutions to complete and modernize its infrastructure and systems.
At the meeting, both sides discussed their co-operation over the years. According to Mr. Koji Masuda- Vice President, Fujitsu, similarly to Co-opBank, does not pursue the goal profitability, instead it focuses on the mission of designining the best solutions for its customers, thereby contributing to the sustainability and overall development of the community.
Mr. Graeme Beardsell – Asia Pacific CEO noted that Co-opBank was the first company he visited during this mission to Vietnam. He was impressed with the level of focus on IT investment by Co-opBank in particular and Vietnamese enterprises in general in recent years. Fujitsu hopes to continue to accompany Co-opBank and PCFs system in Vietnam in digital transformation.
Co-opBank’s Deputy CEO Nguyen Thac Tam briefly presented Coopbank’s process of digital transformation and modernization in the past time and future orientation. He also suggested that Fujitsu would work with Co-opBank to seek for financial resources to support and provide solutions given the scale and operation of CoopBank and the PCF system in Vietnam. The meeting ended with a great success.
