Implement Circular No. 78/2021/TT-BTC dated August 17, 2021 guiding the implementation of Decree No. 123/2020/ND-CP dated October 19, 2020 of the Government on prescribing invoices and records. After a period of preparation in terms of technology, training for implementation, from April 1, 2022, Cooperative Bank of Vietnam (Co-opBank) will officially deploy electronic invoices throughout its system.
E-invoices issued by Co-opBank are registered for use with tax authorities in accordance with current regulations on e-invoices of the Government and the Ministry of Finance, fully legal and authorized for use as a replacement for self-printed invoices.
E-invoice has many outstanding advantages and utilities such as:
+/ Safety and security, avoid being lost during delivery; Reducing the risk of losing or damaging the invoice due to fire, explosion, environment, termites…
+/ High accuracy and safety. E-invoices with authentication codes of tax authorities cannot be forged. Convenience in checking, retrieving the invoice origin and partner information.
+/ Saving costs of printing, issuing and storing invoices: Saving costs of ink cartridges and paper; Reduce costs of delivery: send invoices by e-mail: reduce the cost and time of delivery services provided by 3rd parties. Storing by electronic devices helps reducing investment costs in dedicated storage cabinets.
+/ The procedure for issuing e-invoices is quick; saving customers’ transaction time. In addition, e-invoices also help customers to be proactive in using and storing invoices in the form of electronic files or converting e-invoices into paper invoices for storing accounting documents according to regulations.
+/In particular, the implementation of e-invoices contributes to environmental protection and sustainable development.
When implementing electronic invoices, Co-opBank will stop providing paper invoices to customers and switch to providing invoices in the form of electronic data by the following methods:

The implementation of e-invoices is very important in transforming management methods and helping to save costs for Co-opBank. In particular, e-invoices is one of the important contents to promote digital transformation of Co-opBank; deploying the use of e-invoices for customers throughout the system helping Co-opBank accelerate the reform of administrative procedures and bring many benefits to customers, PCF system as well as State Management Agencies. Strictly implementing and following the roadmap according to the regulations of the Ministry of Finance and the Government on the use of e-invoices on goods sales and services provisions.
