On the 73rd anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947 – July 27, 2020), on July 24, 2020, a Co-opBank’s delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Duc Dung – Member of the Board of Directors, Deputy General Director and Chairman of Co-opBank’s Trade Union visited and gave gifts to wounded and sick soldiers who are being treated at Nho Quan Nursing Center (Ninh Binh) and Kim Bang (Ha Nam). Joining the delegation were Ms. Pham Thi Hong Minh – Deputy General Director and representatives of Trade Union Head Office, Youth Union and leaders, officers of Ninh Binh and Ha Nam Co-opbank branches.
On behalf of Co-opBank’s Board of Directors, Mr. Nguyen Duc Dung chatted with war invalids and sick soldiers about their health, living and working conditions at the Nho Quan and Kim Bang Nursing Center.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Dung emphasized: “To remember and appreciate the great merits of martyrs, war invalids, sick soldiers, families of people with meritorious services to the country in the national liberation wars, building and defending the Fatherland, Co-opBank has always actively participated in social and charitable activities”. Mr. Nguyen Duc Dung also wished the wounded, sick soldiers and their families’ good health.
Over the past years, Nho Quan Nursing Center (Ninh Binh) has received and cared for hundreds of wounded and sick soldiers returning from battlefields. Currently, the Center is managing, treating, caring for and nurturing 147 people, including 76 war invalids with mental illness, disabilities and other illnesses. Kim Bang Nursing Center (Ha Nam) has for more than 800 wounded soldiers and veterans. Currently, the center is treating for 114 wounded and sick soldiers from 20 provinces and cities from Quang Ngai outward.
